Junior School Scale A Teacher – Fixed Term

Due to New Entrant roll growth, we have a position available commencing mid-term 2 in a two-teacher Year 1 & 2 collaborative space.  Applicants will need to have Junior School teaching experience, strengths in structured literacy & numeracy and sound digital skills. You will join a passionate and hard-working team who bring innovation and reflective practice to the classroom. 

Methven Primary School is located in the ski town of Methven with a strong rural community close to Christchurch.  We value and actively develop positive relationships with students, their whanau, staff and the wider community.  If you bring a sense of fun, enthusiasm for teaching and learning and have initiative, we welcome your application.  We are open to a job share arrangement.  A schoolhouse may be available.
